Program Overview

Hosted by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Medicine, the MD program at ISU provides robust medical training aligned with international standards. Established in 2019, the curriculum integrates pre‑clinical and clinical phases, building competencies via collaborations with leading Georgian clinics such as Medi Club Georgia, Aversi Clinic, EVEX clinics, S. Khechinashvili University Clinic, and others. Students learn through lectures, seminars, flipped learning, problem‑based and case‑based methods, bedside teaching, and research projects. A clinical portfolio supports lifelong learning reflecting the CanMEDS framework
