Program Overview

The Aircraft Maintenance B1.3 program is structured to train students for the B1.3 certification—maintenance of turbine-engine helicopters—under international aviation standards. Though categorized as a “Bachelor” at SSU, it follows a vocational education framework typical for aircraft maintenance qualifications. The curriculum includes technical training in aerodynamics, structures, systems, powerplants, and human factors aligned with EASA Part-66 B1.3 requirements. Upon successful completion, graduates are qualified to work in maintenance roles for turbine-powered helicopters, meeting both academic and regulatory benchmarks
